Welcome to the NoteAds blog for newspapers.  Albert Einstein said…“insanity is defined as doing the same thing over and over expecting a different outcome.”  Ok, well what does this mean? It simply means that we at NoteAds want to better communicate with you in support of you offering sticky note solutions to your advertisers.  As the pioneers of sticky notes on the front page of newspapers 15 years ago, we have mailed enough media kits to fill a tractor tailor, and logged enough miles on planes visiting newspapers to circle the globe at least a few times.  It’s time NoteAds joined the 21st century and entered into the world of social media.

As a former newspaper/shopper executive I know that you are now armed with many weapons to scratch the itch of the advertiser of which sticky notes is just one solution of many.  And yes, I recognize there is a huge push in driving ROP and digital in tandem.  Our objective is to simply keep sticky notes TOM (top of mind) as you are out in the field.  So here is what you are going to find as you visit our site.

First of all this is your site.  What I mean is, tell us what you are looking for.  Tell us what you need and we will respond appropriately.  We will have ongoing contests that you will find fun.  There is a Q & A to support your questions.  Calendars are always helpful with deadlines and right now we are building a library of ads that is currently under construction.

Best Use of Sticky Notes is going to be fun as we want you to participate by emailing your picture, the sticky note, and your story.  Yes, we are going to publish your best use of sticky notes.  Basically we want the sales folks in the field talking to each other.  Oh and one last thing…we are in the process of developing podcasts called Scott’s “Rants.”  Each week I will take no more than 5 minutes dealing with issues you are faced with each week when out in the field.  And as always we are interested in your comments as this blog is all about you.
